Ilana Freedman
Ilana Freedman is a veteran intelligence analyst and advisor in intelligence-led counter-terrorism solutions. Trained in Israel, where she lived and worked for sixteen years, she returned to the U.S., and served as CEO of Gerard Group International in Massachusetts until 2009. Since then, Ilana has been an independent consultant, working with major corporations and government agencies on security issues. She is the author of many articles on the terrorist threat to America and the West, and four books on Islamic terrorism. Her global network of specialists and field assets provides an ongoing resource of critical, real-time intelligence and domain expertise.
- In 2007, she was instrumental in the intercession of a mass casualty terrorist event in Manhattan.
- In January 2012, she identified the early activities in Syria of the group that later became known as ISIS.
- In September 2012, on the day immediately following the 9/11 attacks in Benghazi, she reported in depth on the real story of what happened that night, including the well-planned execution of an organized attack by an al Qaeda–linked group, the gun-running activities at the ‘consulate’, the brutal murder of Ambassador Stevens, and the official administration lies that followed.
- In 2014, she revealed Iran’s secret collaboration between Iran and North Korea in the mountains of the rogue regime. Freedman reported on the Iranian airlift of its nuclear research program and their joint efforts to develop plutonium bombs, miniaturize warheads, improve multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle (MIRV) warheads, and enhanced delivery systems, and identified the sites and their functions.
